User Tip: ...What I did find is that if an egg will not come out first time you have to keep trying by combing the hair from different angles. Having a see through container with water in while doing the combing to rinse the comb in once I have finished the process I lift the container up and I can see exactly what has been brought out of the hair and its amazing.

Nits are about half a millimetre long, and 0.2 to 0.3 millimetres wide. They are attached to each hair strand with a strong glue, and they are impervious to ordinary combing.
